Because every client we meet has different needs, introducing the correct caregiver into the household, and then managing them, is one of the key elements to client wellness and compliance, better health outcomes, as well as stabilizing that same household.

Here's an oversimplified, yet quite common series of events.

After receiving a new hip, Mrs. C. is discharged from rehab and returns home with an aide. The surgeon orders outpatient physical therapy three times a week.

The physical therapist sends instructions home outlining follow up exercises to be done daily. When the aide attempts to get Mrs. C. to do her exercises, she is told:

"It hurts too much, and if you make me, I'll fire you!"

The right CGM on the scene, the aid is told: "If Mrs. C. doesn't do her exercises, then she will not make a complete recovery. If you are having a problem you call me to be involved." Clearly, one dynamic obviates for a better outcome. We'll let you decide which one has the best potential for success.
