We're available 24/7/365 to assist families who need immediate
ON SITE assistance for their loved ones in the Dade/Broward Palm Beach metroplex
HOUSEHOLD MANAGEMENT
Through surprise unscheduled weekly visits Senior Solutions social work staff supervise all the
activities of a normal household. This includes home safety,
nutrition, cleanliness, medication compliance, appropriateness
of help in the home, transportation and socialization.
LIFE CARE PLANNING
A comprehensive collection of
data (psychosocial, financial, environmental, medical) allowing
us to project and implement a life care plan to enable the client
to remain in their own home for as long as medically appropriate
and affordable.
MEDICAID
APPLICATIONS
Senior Solutions is available to act as your designated representative
for dealing with the intricacies of the State Medicaid office.
Fees are based on financial complexity.
HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR
Senior Solutions in general and, specifically our founder
Ronnee, have a special affinity for survivors of the Holocaust
and after working with many, many of them over the last 20
years, have a clear and intimate understanding of their special
needs as well as those of the family.
VETERAN'S BENEFITS
Senior Solutions is available to act as your designated representative
for dealing and navigating the complexities dealing with the
VA. Benefits may be available for Veterans, their spouses
or dependents.
CATASTROPHIC AND COMPLEX CASE MANAGEMENT
Permanent or long term injuries or catastrophic illnesses
all have long term financial case management implications
that need to be addressed by families. Senior Solutions uncovers
choices for cost effective, multiple resource, maximum independence
outcomes.
BILL PAYING
An estimated budget is established including monthly expenses
and petty cash needs. Families make the deposit to a separate
checking account and Senior Solutions disburses the funds.
Computer printouts sent with monthly billing.
MEDICATION REVIEW
Senior Solutions has found in our 25 plus years of providing
social services that all Doctors are not aware that other
Doctors have prescribed medications for the same patient.
We keep all medical personnel aware of all prescribed medictions and dosages/or changes.
24 HOUR EMERGENCY HOTLINE/ MONITORING
SERVICES
A real live person (one of our case administrators) who has
the specific case background information is available by pager
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day to handle emergency
situations.
HOLIDAY GET-TOGETHERS/ PARTIES/ SOCIALIZATION
OUTINGS
As elders age and life partners pass away, seniors become
isolated and depressed. Socialization ceases as they focus
on their own problems. We use birthday, holiday, special celebrations, luncheons, plays, concerts and
even ocean cruising to facilitate the socialization process.
SPECIAL NEEDS CASE MANAGEMENT
Families with special need adult members are beginning to
understand the implications of longer life spans for their
adult children. Specific planning and arrangements must be
considered and made well in advance.
NURSING HOME/ ALF PLACEMENT AND MONITORING
The question is not where or when, but many times it's: 'Who's
gonna tell Mom'. Senior Solutions can ease this life style
transition and can provide a monitoring service for families
who do not reside in this region.
ACCESSING FREE/ LOW COST COMMUNITY
RESOURCES
Arranging transportation, reduced cost drug programs, adult
day care or a myriad other services at the most cost effective
rates available.
